Mounia graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Ghent in 2017. She completed internships at home and abroad. In 2020, she started a residency in Equine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, which she successfully completed in early 2024. She also graduated as a chiropractor for horses in 2025.
Together with Elien Rooms, she founded EquiMove Veterinary in 2024, an outpatient practice specializing in diagnostics, rehabilitation, and functional guidance for both sport and recreational horses.
