Dr. Glenn Van Steenkiste is a veterinary researcher at Ghent University with a strong focus on equine cardiology. He obtained his master's degree in veterinary medicine in 2016 and completed his PhD in 2020 at the Department of Internal Medicine of Large Animals. His research interests include biomedical signal processing and pattern recognition, with a particular emphasis on equine cardiac health. He is a key member of the Equine Cardioteam Ghent, which is dedicated to improving both cardiac diagnostics and emergency interventions in equine medicine.
