Veronique Liekens graduated from Ghent University Veterinary Medicine in 2006. At that time, she was already interested in cardiology.
In addition to various domestic and international training courses, she gained practical knowledge at ECVIM-ca Diplomate Cardiology A.Vollmar.
In 2019, she obtained a Certificate in Veterinary Cardiology in the UK (GP Cert Cardiology).
Since February 2016, Veronique Liekens has also been working in the small animal cardiology department at Ghent University, where she is currently completing her residency (resident ECVIM-CA).
