Velab is the veterinary division of the CMA-Medina laboratory group, with 8 laboratories located throughout Flanders. An extensive logistics team ensures that sample pickups and the delivery of collection materials are carried out multiple times a day. Velab is supported by a team of experienced veterinarians. They assist you in interpreting lab results and discussing difficult cases. Our veterinarians are active in primary, secondary, and tertiary veterinary medicine, and three of them have earned their diplomas in internal medicine from the ECVIM (European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine) or ECEIM (European College of Equine Internal Medicine). In addition to our extensive range of in-house tests, we collaborate with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Sciensano, Animal Health Care Flanders, and several domestic and international partner laboratories to perform more specialized diagnostics. You can therefore rely on us for all your analyses of samples from farm animals, horses, and small animals. Requests can be submitted digitally. You can view lab results online, and they are also automatically imported into your practice software. Our well-established IT department is happy to assist you with the digital setup or with any technical issues that may arise afterward, ensuring that your routine is disrupted as little as possible.
